Final Hopper Painting

This is my finished paitning inspired by one of Edward Hopper paintings that I posted earlier. I tried to capture the same feeling of lonliness as Hopper's painting of the girl with her face turned away like my painting. Overall, this is not one of my favorite paintings, but it did challenge me. I'm used to doing pieces where there is one object of intrest, not multiple. As I continue to push myself to do more complicated works, I will become better at painting more things at once as well as hopefully getting faster at painting. This was the first painting that I had an actual background with much more going on than an upclose look at a still life, so I'm proud that I'm taking steps out of my comfort zone.
